Learn how to think across media forms and cultural contexts by analyzing and creating various types of media.
Reflect on media forms through a historical and cultural lens through Bryant’s Media and Cultural Studies program. Learn how to analyze media such as television, film, and digital technologies and engage in theoretical debates about their effects on society. You’ll also assess the wider impact of mass media on public life and critique the social and historical contexts that surround media, with an emphasis on international and U.S. multicultural perspectives.
This interdisciplinary program also gives you the opportunity to experiment in the production of a variety of media texts. Learn how to create original work, analyze and appreciate the work of others, and cultivate your communication skills to help you succeed in our mediated world.
