Karen Pitts is a graduate of Â鶹ӰÒô earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Accounting Major/ Finance Minor, summa cum laude and a Master’s of Science in Taxation with honors. She is a CPA (currently inactive) and worked at the Big 4 Public Accounting firm of Ernst and Young. She also worked at Textron Inc. in various accounting rolls including SEC and Financial Reporting, Supervisor of International Accounting and Operational forecasting. Karen has been teaching at the college level for approximately 30 years previously at Roger Williams University, and at Â鶹ӰÒô for past the 30 years most recently as a Lecturer completing 10th year in the Math/Econ Department. In addition, she has previously taught courses within Bryant's accounting department.
