Why did you choose Bryant?

One thing that appealed to me about Bryant was the faculty-to-student ratio and the ability to reach your professors easily and seamlessly.  Whatever help you need in your classes, they are always readily available and at your disposal.

One thing you should know about Bryant is…

We have a really strong career services center. I came in as a finance major, but mentally I was undecided. After a 30-minute consultation with our coaches in the Amica Center for Career Education, I narrowed down my major and ended up switching to data science. They calmed my nerves and helped me make that decision.

Tell us about your data science major.

I chose a data science degree due to its versatility, which extends beyond the traditional business field. I can leverage it across industries. Before Bryant, I never thought I would be someone who could code. However, with help from my professor, I learned the basics of the Python programming language during my first year. It’s a tool that data scientists use every day.

What’s your favorite place on campus?

The Fisher Student Center is basically the campus living room. You can find a lot of dining options there, but there’s also a lot of study space. I like to use these spaces to get all my work done or meet with groups and work on projects.

What’s one of your favorite moments of the year?

One of my favorite moments is the Ignite the Light Ceremony, during Welcome Week. It’s a ceremony around the Bryant pond where all first-year students come together and light candles in unison. It’s an opportunity for students to connect and kick-start their Bryant journey.

How are you involved on campus?

As a student ambassador, my role is to calm the nerves of prospective students in their college search process. I’m a resident assistant now, too, and I help foster community among first-year students and help them transition into college life.

What advice do you have for incoming Bulldogs?

Don’t be afraid to reach out for help when you need it. We have so many resources on campus that will help you navigate through your experience.

A Connected Community

Bryant's purposeful student life delivers co-curricular immersion with an inspiring, collegial community. Students forge deep connections that last a lifetime.

"Writing has always been my passion. I’m a storyteller at heart ... I’ve [also] learned a lot about marketing and putting yourself out there. That’s a huge part of being successful in the publishing industry."

“We’re top ranked in business, top ranked in athletics, and in the top 1% for ROI, but we’re also so much more. Sometimes people call Bryant a hidden gem. I think it should be recognized as the gold standard for higher education.â€

“I’ve had two internships, one with Fidelity and one with UKG, that I was able to get through the Amica Center. They gave me a lot of help with my resume and the job search and all of the other things that go into starting a career.â€
